Ailie im Wunderland 2 - 17. Kapitel

Now is the time "clearing up" some photo stocks. Indeed I took pictures when there is something special around, but the exam in the semester end just made me unable to post them. So now I tell you what was happened then..

Demostration against tuition fee
So a few days before the demo banners are hung in front of the canteen calling people..... The banner said: "Are you still learning there, or you are already saving money? (Lernst du noch, oder sparst du schon?) -- a rephrase after the IKEA slogan "Are you just living there, or you are already living out your life (Wohnst you noch, oder lebst du schon)?"
Another banner accusing Edmund Stoiber, the minister president of Bayern, of his cost-cutting policy Here we go!
We marched from the University to the government office of Upper Franconia in the city....
Donal's Dress-down Party, December 2004
So this is the calling sheet... the one who dress down the best will be awarded -- a free beer sponsored by Donal. So this is Donal (without d) from Ireland, as the "bad" Santa (well, when we were on the street people kept greeting at him, and he just shouted, "Kein Geschenk! Kein Geschenk! [No gifts! No gifts!]")
The French neighbour Marie won all with her costume of plastic silverware! Andrej from Slovenien dresses himself really down too...
Then we went to the Winterdorf (a temporary wooden house with firewood heating, Christmas mull wine and Bratwuerste etc..) and have a mull wine....

Special show: we all took out our cameras when Donal was caught (not by police) peeing in the alley...
Another Dress-down Party, January 2005
This time Donal wasn't the calling person, but he still dress himself 'gorgeously' The theme here is... dress down, as down as possible.
I just wonder howcome Andrej got all these funny Tees.. Another mystery... they might have planned the thing in Christmas and took all outdated clothings of mothers or sisters...

What's About: Traditionally the week before Christmas is the typcial time for demostration. However because the Bavarian government proposed (again) charging tuition fee in January suddenly, we had to go into snowy street and voice out. The proposed schedule would be in Summer 2006 and the charge will be 500 Euro per semester, plus some other 100 Euro for the student ticket.

What's About II: Donal comes from Ireland and is a great party maker. At least I appreciate his costume collection -- it's really something! Sure he can drink a lot, with tons of humour, and is one of the most popular neighbour recently. His ability of acquiring language is great too... at least he can learn a sentence (greeting etc) of any language in a unbelievable quick speed!
