Ailie im Wunderland 2 - 9. Kapitel

In mid-summer the parties was suspended, as the Spanishs and Italians (the fanatic partiers) were all gone. The few people who still staying in Bussardweg start organising (not really formal) exotic dinners. So we have Olga who cook Pole meals (as a good way to clean up her fridge), Christian who cook German knoedels, and I cook something Cantonese. So this turing-taking system goes pretty well and I can enjoying food that couldn't be found in restaurant.

Sure we are taking about having an international food party some time later...

Cantonese dinner
The dinner gang: My short-term neighbour Millyna, the Chinese meal fan Marion, the board game kind Gerulf, and the law student Kathrin (who took this photo) Favourite #1: Crab meat on steam-fried Broccoli
Favourite #2: Deep-fried Tofu with chilli-salt Favourite #3: Steamed Chicken with ginger-spring onion dip
Kathrin, the law student from Berlin Gerulf, the board game fan from Baden-Wuerttemburg
Marion, big fan of Chinese food, from Bavaria Millyna, my short-term Italian neighbour, who like Yoga and Taichi
The one who cooks.. After the meal, doing clean-ups would be a good sport.
Olga's Farewell dinner #2
The big dinner table Typical German/ Bavarian: Bread knoedel in Champingnon sauce
Clean-up has fun too: Andrea from Munich and Evona from Poland Olga offer us herb Vodka 'Zubrowka' as dessert.
Oh sure, I just needed to eat this time... the band plays on...

The cook on-duty: Christian from Ingostadt
Olga's farewell dinner #3
Final of Olga's farewelling Trio: the brunch The new tutor Dirk from Regensburg, who lives in Room ... 911 of my block

You cannot image howcome the same gang can eat and drink in three consecutive days just farewelling one person. Sure Olga is a pop figure in Bussardweg...

What's About: There has some regulars in the big kitchen. The tutor Peter is normally ALWAYS there, while another tutor Dirk will be around also sometimes. The Poles and Czechs are the regulars, while on Sundays some other guys like those from Africa, Bangladesh or China will join the gang, as they will invite friends to have lunch together.

Sure if you want to make friends in the dorm, the kitchen is definitely the place to hang around.
